Central Operations Director
Have you 15+ years’ experience within brand-led, global consumer goods?
We are looking for a highly experienced operations director to lead and oversee day-to-day central operations for a British high-end perfumery ensuring effective internal planning & communications and overseeing the global supply chain and Operations team.
Using your industry experience within brand-led, global consumer goods or retail organisation preferably within the luxury tier and strong commercial skills to ensure robust product development, supply chain, stock management and customer service practices are in place to deliver profitable sales growth, achieve business KPIs in line with the targets.
You will introduce effective quality management procedures, and ensure the business is meeting all legal requirements, including up-to-date market registration and product regulation/compliance standards and on-counter health & safety requirements.
You will Partner with the CEO and CFO to upgrade and implement an improved annual budget process, contributing to customer-level and product-level planning, and ensuring effective reviews and reforecasts are undertaken in-year.
You’re a tough negotiator with significant experience strengthening/de-risking the supplier base and ideally logistics providers.
As a natural leader, you will promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality. You will recruit and retain talent within the Operations team and act as mediator for conflict resolution among the various departments, intervening where necessary to resolve issues for smooth operations and effective coordination.
